In the News: Black market surgery

I don't normally read the news, but someone I follow on youtube had sent to this link.

Even though I do not plan on getting any cosmetic injections in me in the near future, I would encourage anyone who's thinking about it to grab a copy of Shot Girls and think about it.

Not saying "Oh hey you shouldn't and they're fake blah blah blah" since I have done laser procedures to rid my moles in the past (legally at a proper clinic) and I think there's nothing wrong if you want to get something done for whatever reason it is, but make sure you do your research, rethink your reasons and search around for a good place. Don't be cheap and lazy about it. 

Sakura Festival 2012

Yesterday I went to the annual cherry blossom festival at the Japanese Gardens in Auburn.

The weather was fantastic for some nice photos, I would say a little windy for a picnic but still nice if you find a nice sunny spot to lay in.

As expected there were a lot of people there, tourist groups, photographers , models, cosplayers and it was fun despite the large amounts of people.

So if you reside in Sydney, be sure to go check out the cherry festival on it's last weekend (25th and 26th August) at the Auburn Botanic Gardens. The website says entry from 12-4pm but I heard that you were able to enter earlier too which may help avoid the cluster of people. Make sure you are patient if you want to get some good photos though as you will be expecting to wait a very long time.

桜井莉菜: Sakurina Smokey Eye Tutorial

If you frequently follow Koakuma Ageha(小悪魔アゲハ) or Sakurina's blog you will know that Rina changes her makeup style frequently. She has natural makeup, fairy style and rock style.

Rina's recent makeup is a lot lighter than what she would wear last year, and I am personally still debating whether or not I am fond of her new makeup look. On some days I like it and in some shots it just does not work for me.

 M: False. You will get arrested if you go out with nothing but accessories on. 
 T: True. One can over accessorise or under accessorise
 

Is pink truly the best colour ever? 
M: Yes!
T: Obviously..to an extent

Is lip gloss a must? 
M: I believe you should wear either lipstick or lip gloss, not both at the same time. 

T: Lipgloss is nice when you are under 35 years old, passed that age, a smidgen works wonders

What makeup can you not live without? 
M: hmm....probably mascara
T: Eyebrow pencil and BB Cream

Heels or Flats? 
M: Flats. I like heels but they hurt.
T: Flats are comfy, heels for the height.

Favourite Colour: 
M: Green
T: Ditto..that's an awesome colour.

If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be and why? 
M: Daidouji Tomoyo because I read and write ExT fanfiction, therefore by my logic, I will end up with the hot four-eyed magician.

T: Elizabeth Bennet from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, because she is someone with great personality and strong-willed. Or.. Alice Cullen from Twilight because Jasper is so extremely hot in my eyes! ‘Nuff said.

If you won $20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money? 
M: Save 10% , invest 10% in stock and real estate, donate 10% to charity, give my family 30%, buy a $500k car, buy a $4 million house, $50K for traveling around the world, donate $1 million to improve my country, and leave the rest for emergency. 
 T: Give my parents $5m, Save $5m, buy a house and invest the rest.

Are you a collector of anything? 
M: I am a hoarder trying to break my hoarding habits
T: I collect...manga

If you could have any super power, what would it be? 
M: Teleportation
T: Speed. So I can accomplish more in a day.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up? 
M: What time is it?
T: Food?

Favourite Game: 
M: Tokimeki Memorial (all of them)
T: Diablo 2. Can't wait for the 3rd one. Not long now!

What's your favourite thing to do on a Saturday night? 
M: Catching up with friends.
T: wake up, slack, eat some snacks, then roll around the bed and sleep, REPEAT.
 

If you could dye your hair any colour, what would it be? 
M: Bubblegum Pink!
T: Definitely green. Bright mint green! 

What do you want to achieve out of this blog? 

M: Entertainment and new ideas people can try out.
